Haroli/Una, March 6 (Rajveer Chopra): The Road Safety Club of Sant Dhangu Wala Gujjar Government College, Beetan (Una), successfully organized a "Quiz Competition on Road Safety" on Friday on the college campus. The program's purpose was to raise awareness among students about traffic rules and road safety.
The college's Principal, Dr. Sumiksha Gupta, was the chief guest. The program was conducted under the leadership of the Road Safety Club's nodal officer, Dr. Anita Devi. Senior Professor Dr. Uma Rani, club members Dr. Gurmel Singh, Dr. Boota Ram, and other faculty and non-teaching staff were also present.
Students participated enthusiastically in the quiz competition, demonstrating their awareness by answering questions related to road safety accurately. Team A won first place, Team B won second place, and Team C won third place.
At the end of the program, Principal Dr. Sumiksha Gupta honored the winning students with mementos, and refreshments were distributed to all participants and attendees.
In her address, the Principal encouraged students to follow traffic rules and spread awareness about road safety in society. She stated that such programs play an important role in developing a sense of responsibility and awareness among students.
