Banga/Nawanshahr- As part of the series of events dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sahib Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, a special lecture was organized by the Postgraduate Punjabi Department at Sikh National College Banga under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder Ji on the topic "Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji: Life, Bani and Ideology".
In which Giani Palwinder Singh from Gurdwara Charan Kanwal Sahib participated as the main speaker and Bhai Sahib Bhai Sarabjit Singh as the special guest.
College Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder Ji shared the welcome words and provided information about the activities taking place in the college. Giani Palwinder Singh Ji, while introducing the students through the life and Bani of Sahib Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, said that Guru Sahib is remembered as the protector of rights and the embodiment of humanity.
He said that no matter what religion it is, it teaches us to remain detached from hatred and quarrels. It always gives a message of peace, harmony and brotherly coexistence. The biggest example of which is the martyrdom of Guru Sahib in front of us. He also said that we should make our lives successful by taking guidance from the words of Guru Sahib Ji.
The entire program was conducted by Dr. Nirmaljit Kaur. The vote of thanks was shared by Dr. Indurati Ji. On this occasion, Prof. Tajinder Singh, Prof. Pooja, Prof. Harpal Kaur, Dr. Gurvinder Singh, Prof. Vipan, Dr. Jyoti Prakash, Prof. Manmant Singh, Prof. Onkar Singh were present from the Punjabi department. At the end of the program, the guests were also honored.
