A function was organized to pay tribute to the martyrs at Shaheed Udham Singh Bhawan

Chandigarh:- A special tribute function was organized in the memory of the martyrs at Shaheed Udham Singh Bhawan located in Sector 44-C. The function started with the recitation of Sri Sukhmani Sahib, after which Gurbani Kirtan was performed by the Raagi Jathas. Artist Sri Joga Singh presented songs in praise of the martyrs.
Many prominent personalities were present on the occasion, including BJP leader Sanjay Tandon, Bibi Lakhwinder Kaur Garcha, S.K. Verma, and Deputy Mayor Mohali Kuljit Singh Bedi. Kisan Morcha leader Balbir Singh Rajewal also paid tribute to the martyrs. Senior Deputy Mayor Jasmanpreet Singh, who was on a foreign tour, sent his message.
The guests were honored under the leadership of the Chairperson of the Society, Mrs. Salinder Kaur Chandi. Despite the bad weather, a large number of people participated. At the end of the event, a pledge was taken to celebrate the day of all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for India's independence. The responsibility of conducting the stage was handled by Ram Singh Balongi.
