Nawanshahr:- Dedicated to the unique martyrdom of the universal donor, the tenth son of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Mata Gujar Kaur and the younger Sahibzadas, a grand foot march was taken out from Sri Guru Ravidas Gurdwara Mohalla Diwaniya Rahon under the leadership of Dr. Nachhattar Pal, MLA Nawanshahr to Gurdwara Shri Charan Kamal Sahib Machhiwara.
Hundreds of devotees, youth and social workers of the area participated in this foot march and remembered the martyrdom of the Guru Sahibs. During the foot march, the atmosphere remained energetic with the chants of “Bole So Nihal” from the Sangat.
Dr. Nachhattar Pal said in his address that the martyrdom of the younger Sahibzadas is a priceless chapter of Sikh history, which inspires us to stand firm against truth, religion and injustice. He said that such events play an important role in connecting the younger generation with their history and heritage. The pilgrims were warmly welcomed by the Sangat of various villages.
On this occasion, Sant Surinder Das, the President of Gurudwara Sri Charanchoh Ganga Khuralgarh Sahib, also specially reached. Addressing the Sangat, he highlighted the importance of the martyrdom of the younger Sahibzade and inspired the Sangat to follow the path shown by the Gurus.
