Una, November 20: A meeting was held today (Thursday) in the meeting hall of the District Development Office, Una, to review and effectively implement the "Our Toilet, Our Future" campaign, organized under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural). The meeting was chaired by District Development Officer, Una, Ramnaveer Chauhan.
Special emphasis was placed on ensuring that all Block Development Officers prioritize the repair, improvement, and full functionality of community sanitary complexes in their respective areas. The District Development Officer directed the timely completion of the 2025–26 targets and emphasized the importance of quality and transparency in construction work.
He also directed that families without individual toilets be encouraged to construct them. He also directed that toilets requiring repair be timely, cleaned, and maintained. Emphasis was also laid on strengthening cleanliness activities, beautification, community awareness programmes during the campaign period.
District Development Officer Ramanveer Chauhan, while addressing the officers and employees, said that all the departments should work with full commitment, positive attitude and mutual coordination, so that the “Our Toilet, Our Future” campaign can be made effective and result-oriented at the grassroots level.
Block Development Officer Bangana Kishori Lal Verma, Block Development Officer Amb Om Pal Dogra, District Coordinator SBM-G Suresh Verma, all Block Nodal Officers and Block Coordinators actively participated in the meeting.
