Fazilka:- Fazilka police seized 5 kg 414 grams heroin, one pistol, 4 magazines, two persons arrested along with 12 live snakes. Giving information, SSP Gurmeet Singh said that Inspector Mukesh Kumar had handed over a letter to Inspector Shimla Rani that the BSF party killed the ambulance and Karnail Singh son of Lakha Singh, resident of village Chak Bajida, Gurpreet Singh alias Lovepreet Singh son of Kundan Singh, resident of village Chak Tahli Wala without any suspicion last night.
They were arrested and it was found that they had coordinated with the smugglers who came from Pakistan on the phone at night. On the basis of which, 5 kg 414 grams of heroin, a pistol, 4 magazines, 12 live cartridges were recovered during interrogation and Balwinder Singh alias Sonu Sardar, son of Khan Singh, resident of village Chak Tahli Wala, was nominated.
