During this, the artists made the villagers aware of the schemes being run by the state government for the welfare of the Scheduled Castes, public welfare policies, achievements and the anti-drug campaign through songs and street plays.
In the program, the artists informed that under the Inter-caste Marriage Promotion Scheme, if a young man or woman of the upper caste marries in the Scheduled Caste category, then the state government provides an incentive amount of Rs 50,000 to the couple. This scheme has been run with the aim of eliminating evils like untouchability from the society.
For this, it is mandatory for the couple to submit documents like caste certificate, Himachali certificate, marriage registration certificate, date of birth certificate, copy of ration card, Aadhaar card, marriage photo and no objection certificate from the concerned District Welfare Officer.
In addition, the artists of the Natya Dal said that under the Follow-up Program Scheme, financial assistance is given by the government to provide means of livelihood to the eligible beneficiaries of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes. Under this scheme, women are provided a subsidy of Rs 1,800 per sewing machine, so that they can become self-reliant by earning employment at home.
He also informed the villagers about the Chief Minister Sukh Ashray Yojana, Indira Gandhi Sukh Shiksha Yojana, Indira Gandhi Sukh Suraksha Yojana as well as other welfare schemes. Apart from this, the artists especially emphasized on drug prevention and called drug addiction a serious evil of the society and appealed to the people to stay away from drug addiction and make the society aware about it.
It is noteworthy that for the socio-economic upliftment of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes, various schemes and programs are being run by the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, for which a special public awareness campaign has been launched through cultural groups to reach every village.
This campaign is being organized in two phases in Una district. Programs will be held in 20 Scheduled Caste dominated villages of the district, in which 4 programs will be organized in each assembly constituency. Special attention will also be given to de-addiction and social awareness in the campaign.

In this series, awareness programs will be organized in Pirthipur Nichla and Chalet Apparla of Gagret on 16th, Chowki and Dhawali on 17th and Tyaar and Boul of Bangana on 18th September. Whereas, in the second phase, awareness programs will be organized by Purvi Kalamanch Jalgran Tabba from 6th to 10th October.
In this, on October 6, in Balh-Kholi and Paroiyan Kalan of Bangana, on October 7, in Khad Khas and Bhadasali Tholian of Haroli, on the 8th in Saloh Upper and Dulahad Upperla, on the 9th in Dhamandari and Kuriala of Una and on October 10 in Bahdala and Sasan, people will be entertained and informed about the schemes being run in public interest through songs, music and street plays. 
On this occasion, Ladoli Panchayat Pradhan Balvindra Singh, Panchayat Secretary Rajesh Kumar, Deputy Pradhan Sarendra Kumar of Maidi Khas along with ward members of Panchayats and local people were present.
