Chandigarh, September 17 - Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda inaugurated Namo Van, which is being prepared using Miyawaki method in Sector-2 of Rohtak city on the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, with a sapling plantation. Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, Cooperation Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma, Health Minister Kumari Aarti Singh Rao and BJP State President Shri Mohan Lal Barauli were present on the inaugural occasion of Namo Van.

Union Health Minister Shri Nadda, along with the Chief Minister, took a pledge to protect the environment by planting about 10 thousand trees in Namo Van with the people of Rohtak. There was a notable participation of women, elderly, youth and children in Namo Van. While planting saplings, the environmentalists had a direct conversation with Union Minister Shri J.P. Nadda and said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is moving towards a developed India with the ideology of a healthy life in a clean environment, in such a situation, it is the responsibility of all of us to contribute to making this active thinking meaningful.
He inspired the women that just as they are fulfilling their household responsibilities with utmost dedication, they should also come forward to make themselves and their families partners in protecting the environment and become environmental protectors by planting more and more trees.
Thousands of women who came to plant trees in Namo Van assured Union Minister Shri J.P. Nadda and Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini that the steps being taken by the Prime Minister of the country towards making Swachh Bharat-Sihtmand Bharat will be actively participated by the women of Rohtak along with their families.
The Union Health Minister and the Chief Minister encouraged the people, especially women and children, who came to plant trees in Namo Van. They said that by creating a balanced environment, we can realize the concept of healthy life.
Rajya Sabha MP Ramchandra Jangra, former Minister Shri Manish Grover, Mayor of the Municipal Corporation Ram Avtar Balmiki, Director General of the Information, Public Relations Department Shri K. Makrand Pandurang, Director of the Urban Local Government Department Shri Pankaj and other dignitaries were present on the occasion of the inauguration of Namo Van.
