3-day disaster management training program started in Mubarikpur.

Una, May 14- A three-day training program was inaugurated by the District Disaster Management Authority Una on Wednesday at the Home Defense Training Center in Mubarikpur. This training program is based on the subject of Task Force Youth Volunteers for Better Disaster Preparedness, which aims to give basic information about disaster management to the youth and ensure their active participation in emergency situations. 53 volunteers from various panchayats of development block Gagret are participating in this program.

53 volunteers from various panchayats of development block Gagret are participating in this program.
The training camp has been organized as per the guidelines of Deputy Commissioner Una and Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority. The youth participating in it are being provided practical training on important topics like pre-disaster preparation, quick response, rescue techniques, first aid, and communication skills.
The training program is being conducted by experienced experts and trainers who are preparing the participants to help the community in times of crisis. This initiative is not only making the youth aware and empowered, but is also contributing significantly towards establishing a safe, capable and cooperative society.
This effort by the District Administration Una is a strong step towards tackling future challenges by organizing and training the youth power in the field of disaster management.
