MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa inaugurated a tubewell in New Deep Nagar.

Hoshiarpur- MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa today formally inaugurated a tubewell in New Deep Nagar of Ward No. 27 at a cost of Rs 30 lakh. On this occasion, he dedicated this tubewell to former councilor Late Gurmeet Kaur and said that Late Gurmeet Kaur’s life was dedicated to social service and the Hundal family is still active in public welfare by following the path shown by her.

MLA Jimpa specially thanked Avtar Singh Dhami who made the land available for the tubewell. He said that the residents of New Deep Nagar were facing water problem for a long time, which has been solved through this tubewell. This project has been completed with complete transparency and quality keeping in mind the local needs.
He also thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and said that under his leadership, Punjab is moving towards continuous development. The MLA said that in the last three years, more than 25 new tubewells have been installed in the city by the Municipal Corporation, due to which the water supply situation in various areas has improved significantly.
Mayor Surinder Kumar, Councilor Pradeep Bittu, District Media Incharge Kulwinder Singh Hundal, Kishan, Davinder Billa, Subhash Chandra, Rajinder Singh, Lal Singh, Pritam Das, Somnath, Charanjit, Sudesh Rani, Dalvir Kaur, Ravinder Kumar and many other dignitaries were present at this inauguration ceremony.
