Chandigarh, August 6- Haryana Sports Minister Mr. Gaurav Gautam conducted a surprise inspection of Chhatrapati Shivaji Stadium in Panipat on Wednesday to ensure that maximum number of players from Haryana participate in Mission Olympics 2036 and that there is no shortage of basic facilities in any stadium in the state.
Chandigarh, August 6- Haryana Sports Minister Mr. Gaurav Gautam conducted a surprise inspection of Chhatrapati Shivaji Stadium in Panipat on Wednesday to ensure that maximum number of players from Haryana participate in Mission Olympics 2036 and that there is no shortage of basic facilities in any stadium in the state.
He gave strict instructions to the officials that the players should not be deprived of basic facilities, otherwise action will be taken against the concerned officials.
Giving clear instructions, he said that the state government has a clear intention that maximum participation should be made in bringing medals to Haryana. During the inspection, the Sports Minister also sought information from the players visiting the stadium about the facilities being provided there.
He directed that all sports facilities should be completed in a timely manner and the players should not be inconvenienced in any way. He interacted with the sportspersons and encouraged them to fulfill their promise of bringing 36 medals for Haryana in the 2036 Olympics.
The Sports Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, sports are being given top priority in the country and the state today.
It is our responsibility to provide world-class facilities to the talented sportspersons of Haryana. He also wished the children a bright future while conveying his best wishes.
