Hoshiarpur – A sensation spread in Mahilpur town this afternoon when people came to know that the body of a youth was lying near bushes in a deserted place near a private school. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and started legal proceedings.
The father of the deceased youth, Davinder Singh Babbu, said that his 20-year-old son Sahibjot Singh had left home with his friend at around 3 pm on the day of Dussehra. When he did not return home till late at night, the family started searching for him but could not find him.
Today, they received information that the body of his son was lying near bushes near a private school. They reached the spot and identified their son. The police have taken the body into custody and started further investigation and legal proceedings.
