Chief Minister hoists the flag at the state- level Independence Day celebrations in Rohtak

Chandigarh , August 15 - Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini , while greeting the people of the state on the occasion of 79th Independence Day, said that India is today the fourth largest economic power and under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, it has to be made the largest economic power in the world. For this, a self-reliant Bharat Jan Andolan will have to be formed . He emphasized on the mantra of adopting Swadeshi, vocal for local and local for global . The Chief Minister appealed to industrialists , investors , technicians , scientists to use their respective skills to make it self-reliant .

The Chief Minister was addressing the state-level Independence Day celebrations organized in Rohtak district on Friday . On this occasion , he hoisted the flag to the tune of the national anthem and extended his greetings to the countrymen of the state on the occasion of Independence Day . The Chief Minister paid homage to the brave martyrs by laying a wreath at the Shaheed Smarak . At the function, the Chief Minister inspected the parade contingents and took the salute . He honoured the families and dependents of the freedom fighters .
The Chief Minister saluted the soldiers who guarded the country's borders . Paying emotional tributes to all the known martyrs, he said that the festival of Independence is a festival of the people and a day of pride for us . Today, like every year, the entire country has been painted in the colors of patriotism with the Tricolor campaign in every house . He said that this is his second opportunity to hoist the flag as the Chief Minister on Independence Day . It is a great honor to hoist the flag on the historical and heroic land of Rohtak . Even after independence, the heroes of Haryana have made many sacrifices in the security of the country's borders . Our soldiers have presented a unique example of bravery during the foreign attacks of 1962, 1965, 1971 and the Kargil War . It is our responsibility to support the families of the martyrs who gave their lives for the motherland and their dependents . In this direction, the government has increased the pension of freedom fighters and their widows to Rs 40 thousand per month . The ex-gratia amount for the families of the soldiers martyred in the war has also been increased to Rs 1 crore . 410 dependents of the martyred soldiers have been given government jobs .
The Chief Minister said that recently during Operation Sindoor, the world has seen the power of our indigenous technology and weapons . Our forces have shown the entire world the strategic power and strength of India with their courage and bravery . Not only this , our army has also punished the perpetrators of Pahalgam by conducting Operation Mahadev . He saluted the courage and valor of the three armies .
Haryana will make an important contribution with the concept of Developed India.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has set a target of making India a developed nation by the year 2047 on the 100th anniversary of Independence . Haryana will also have an important contribution in achieving this target . Even at this time, Haryana is at the forefront in contributing to the country's food grains . Every second car running on the country's roads is manufactured in Haryana . 52 percent of the country's tractors are manufactured in Haryana .
In the last 10 and a half years, the government has freed the people of the state from a discriminatory system .
Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that in the last 10 and a half years, the Haryana government has freed the people of the state from the discriminatory system . While cracking down on corruption , a new model of e-governance has been adopted to provide the benefits of all government schemes and services to the people sitting at home . For this, government schemes and services have been linked with the family identity card . Every government scheme and program has been made transparent through more than 100 portals and apps . The government's job creation without expenditure slip , online transfer , educated panchayats and Antondaya campaign are the talk of the town today .
He said that the government has given government jobs to 30 thousand youths without any expenditure slip in its third term . Taking these together, 1 lakh 80 thousand jobs have been given in the last 10 and a half years. Recently , the common qualification has been successfully organized . The government has also secured the future of the youths working under the Haryana Skill Employment Corporation by making a law . Apart from this , the government is going to give employment to more than 5 thousand youths in foreign countries through this corporation .
The government was , is and will always be ready to destroy the plans of the culprits . Anyone who breaks the law will not be spared .
The Chief Minister said that along with development and public welfare, the safety of life and property of every citizen of the state is the top priority of the government . If any complaint is received from any person , at any time, then the police have strict instructions to take immediate action against him . The government was always ready , is ready and will be ready to destroy the plans of the culprits . He said in clear words on this Independence Day that we will make Haryana free from crime and criminals and no one who breaks the law will be spared .

Several steps taken for the welfare of farmers
The Chief Minister said that the interests of farmers are at the heart of the government's policies . Today, all the crops of farmers are being purchased at the minimum support price . Till now, Rs 1 lakh 48 thousand has been deposited in the accounts of 12 lakh farmers for crop purchase. In the last 10 and a half years, Rs 15 thousand 465 crore has been given to farmers as compensation for crop damage. Similarly , under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, about Rs 7 thousand crore has been deposited in the accounts of farmers. The government has uprooted the agrarian crisis that has been going on since the days of the British . By implementing the Agricultural Land Lease Act, trust has been restored between the tenant farmers and the landowners .
He said that since the independence of the country, there has been talk of poor welfare for a long time , but the benefits did not reach them . Whereas the present government has launched many schemes for the upliftment of the poor . The reservation of Scheduled Castes has been divided into two categories and given their rights to the people who were deprived till now . The creamy layer income limit of the backward class has been increased from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 8 lakh . The backward class-B has been given reservation in Panchayati Raj institutions and urban local corporations . The government has given land in 1700 villages to the Prajapati community to run a pottery business . Under the Chief Minister's Marriage Shagun Yojana, up to Rs 71 thousand is given as shagun . Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 1 lakh 47 thousand houses have been given under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to provide a roof over the heads of the poor . Along with this, the Chief Minister's Housing Yojana has also been started for the poor families . Under this, 15,256 poor families have been given plots in 14 cities . We have also given 3,884 plots in 58 village panchayats . In the second phase of this scheme, 1 lakh 59 thousand families have registered . Ownership rights have been given to the people occupying houses up to 500 square yards built on panchayat land in villages . Social security pension has been increased to Rs 3,000 per month . The benefit of disabled pension has also been given to 10 other categories .
He said that under Ayushman Bharat-Chirayu Yojana, about 22 lakh people have been treated free of cost . Free dialysis services have been started in all government hospitals and medical colleges for patients suffering from kidney disease . This has given immense relief to the poor people . To realize the Prime Minister's vision of making the country a medical hub, the state government is opening a medical college in every district . At present, the number of medical colleges in the state has increased to 15 and 9 more are under construction .
Talking about sports, the Chief Minister said that it is a matter of pride that our players have won many medals at the national and international stage . The credit for these achievements goes to the hard work of the players as well as to our sports policy . The government is developing a lot of infrastructure for sports . Gyms are being opened in every village to realize the Prime Minister's Fit India-Hit India vision . So far, 250 indoor gyms have been opened in rural areas of 19 districts at a cost of Rs. 90 crore .
Women are being empowered economically and socially .???
The Chief Minister said that to empower women, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has launched the Bima Sakhi Yojana from Panipat . The state government has also started the Lado Sakhi Yojana with his inspiration . The Lado Sakhi who takes care of the women during childbirth and the birth of a daughter will be given an incentive of Rs. 1 thousand . He said that a target has been set to make 5 lakh women Lakhpati Didi in the state . So far, 2 lakh 13 thousand women have been made Lakhpati Didi . In the Drone Didi Yojana, 100 women have been trained on drones free of cost . This year , 100 more women will be trained . To increase the livelihood opportunities of women, a provision has been made to give one-third of the ration depots to women . The operation of Atal Kisan Mazdoor Canteen and Vita Sales Centers has also been entrusted to women . He said that the government had resolved that by giving more incentives to women, participation in startups would be increased from 45 to 60 percent . Women-led startups in Haryana have increased to 50 percent . Women's cultural centers are being opened across the state . So far, 131 centers have been opened . Poor women are being given gas cylinders for just Rs. 500 every month to run their kitchens. This benefit is being received by about 18 lakh families in the state . To ensure women's participation in the development of villages, they have been given 50 percent representation in Panchayati Raj institutions . Out of 80 colleges opened in the state to provide higher education to daughters, 30 are for girls . Today, free education is being provided to girls up to post-graduation .

Haryana is the first choice of investors from home and abroad .
Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that industry is the basic basis of the economy . To give impetus to industrial development, a single system of Ease of Doing Business has been prepared. The government has eliminated many rules and procedures that created obstacles in granting certificates , licenses and approvals . Today , more than 150 services are being provided online to investors in Haryana and it has been ensured that all approvals are given to them within 12 days . Industries are being set up in every area of the state . Thousands of youth will get employment from these . It is the result of the government's incentive schemes that today Haryana has become the first choice of investors from home and abroad . In the last 10 and a half years, 7 lakh 66 thousand small , small and medium industries have been set up in the state and 39 lakh people have got employment in these .
He said that today Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has honored four Sarpanches of Haryana for making their villages model villages . To end the disputes of the Saptiyas that have been going on for years, the villages have been made free from Lal Dora . Today, 24-hour electricity is being provided in 5 thousand 895 villages of the state under the Mara Gaon Jagmag Gaon Yojana . Tap water has been provided to all rural homes . He said that Rs . 5 thousand 666 crore has been allocated in the budget of the current financial year 2025-26 for development works in cities . Since October 2014, 2 thousand 147 illegal colonies have been demolished .

The Chief Minister said that today Haryana is learning a new definition of prosperity . Infrastructure has developed rapidly in the state . 21 new national highways have been announced to connect every district with national highways , out of which 13 have been completed . Air services have started from Maharaja Agrasen Airport . Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi recently laid the foundation stone of the Rithala-Kundli Metro Corridor , which is being built at a cost of Rs. 6,230 crore . Clusters of small and medium industries are being established at the block level to strengthen the economic condition of every region . He said that the last 10 and a half years of Haryana's tenure is a testament to equitable development , harmony as well as changes that have made life simple, easy and safe for every person . He assured that the coming period of Haryana will also be an example of development, progress and prosperity . He said that on this sacred festival, the people of the state should resolve to work hard to build a developed India - a developed Haryana, while following their great cultural traditions and high moral values.
On this occasion , patriotic programs were presented by school children . The Chief Minister also honored the officers and employees who performed excellent work and the artists who presented cultural programs .
