Dr. Amarjit Singh Raju is a unique personality who took up the cause of social welfare

Prakash Singh Raju, who has been living in the UK for the last sixty years, his son Amarjit Raju, who is a resident of village Sadhowal adjacent to Tehsil Garhshankar of Hoshiarpur district, was disabled since childhood, but he never gave up, overcoming every difficulty, he completed his studies and today is sitting in a good job in England. 
Amarjit Singh Raju is a unique personality, who has taken up the cause of the welfare of the society and he helps every disabled person. In Punjab, along with his brother Happy Sadhowal son Darshan Singh Raju, he has also opened an organization named (Raju Brothers Welfare Society u.k and Punjab). The main objective of this organization is to help every disabled person, to show the outside world to the disabled person. To achieve this goal, he has distributed thousands of tricycles and wheelchairs and has also provided financial assistance to those who are disabled.
Seeing these great works of his, the British government gave him the title of doctor and he was also honored with the title of BEO (British empire officer).
Dr. Amarjit Raju has promised his brothers Happy Sadhowal that he will help the disabled people in the society in every way. While completing any of his work, he comes to Punjab with his team every year and helps the disabled people. And this process continues continuously.
