Hoshiarpur- On the instructions of Punjab Government, District Employment and Business Bureau and Model Career Center celebrated World Day in DBEE. District Employment Officer Ramandeep Kaur, while giving information in this regard, said that the disabled candidates registered in the bureau were informed by phone and called to the office and today 52 disabled candidates participated in DBEE.
She said that the main objective of celebrating World Day is to give information about various schemes of the government being run for the disabled. Placement Officer Rakesh Kumar gave information about the schemes run by the Employment Department. On this occasion, Assistant Director Ashish Kumar Kullu from Ministry of Labor and Employment (NCSC-DA Ludhiana), Director R Sethi, District Industries Center, Lead District Manager and representatives of SC Corporation Office gave information about the schemes running in their respective departments.
On the occasion of this World Day, blankets and stationery kits were presented to the disabled candidates participating in this program by the representatives of Ludhiana Beverages (Coca Cola Limited) Hoshiarpur and Reliance Industries Chouhal. The District Employment Officer requested the unemployed needy candidates of the district to come to DBEE.
