In which the General Secretary of the organization Bhalinder Singh Tony, Harnek Singh Saini and the residents of the area demanded an immediate solution to this problem and said that for a long time, a large number of vehicles have been parked on both sides of the main Badungar Road outside the college by the students of Khalsa College. When the vehicles are diverted to get out, a long traffic jam occurs here, in which the people traveling here get stuck in the traffic jam.
In an emergency, even the sick victims cannot be taken to the hospital on time. A woman from Badungar, Surjit Kaur, who suffered a heart attack after being stuck in an ambulance for 35 minutes in the traffic jam here, has died due to not reaching the hospital on time.
The leaders of the organization said that there is also land for parking inside Khalsa College. Where parking can be done, but the college management is also ignoring this big problem of the people. They said that the residents of Badungar, Pratap Nagar, Model Town, Color Colony and nearby villages who commute daily from here are extremely saddened and troubled by the problem of this long traffic jam on the road.
They also demanded immediate closure of the illegal parking outside the college, creation of a new parking zone and deployment of traffic police. The organization made another demand in public interest, saying that the city residents are troubled by illegal parking. The same situation is also outside Amar Hospital near Leela Bhawan.
Illegal parking is being done on half the government road, due to which traffic is being disrupted. On this occasion, leaders like Subedar Sharm Singh, Harnek Singh Saini, Jagtar Singh Grewal, Rajinder Singh, Shankar, Ashok Kumar, Sarabjit Singh etc. were present.
