Nawanshahr - Deputy Commissioner-cum- District Election Officer Ankurjit Singh has instructed all the Electoral Registration Officers of the district to follow the links of the social media platforms of the Chief Electoral Officer of Punjab to the Assistant SWEEP Nodal Officers, BLU Supervisors and BLOs under them. The Deputy Commissioner said that information about the activities of the Chief Electoral Officer of Punjab can be obtained from these links.
He said that these links https://www.facebook.com/TheCEOPunjab/, https://x.com/TheCEOPunjab, https://www.instagram.com/theceopunjab/, https://www.youtube.com/@TheCEOPunjab should be followed as much as possible so that the general public gets timely information about the instructions and activities issued by the Election Commission.
The Deputy Commissioner also instructed the District SWEEP Nodal Officer that Electoral Literacy Clubs (ELCs) have been formed in the schools/colleges of the district. Through their in-charges, the students in the concerned schools/colleges should be made aware to increase the followers on social media platforms.
The District Election Officer has also appealed to all the district residents to follow the social media platforms of the Chief Electoral Officer Punjab so that they keep getting information about the instructions and activities issued by the Honorable Election Commission from time to time.
