3 March Hoshiarpur- Under 15 (boys) Punjab State Freestyle Wrestling Championship in memory of wrestler Pal Singh Dosanjh was organized in the playground of Government School Bassi Kalan under the leadership of Chand Pehlwan and coach Rajinder Singh. During this, MP Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal participated as the chief guest and blessed the wrestlers. On this occasion, about 100 wrestlers from all over Punjab showed their strength. The matches were divided into 10 categories from 38 kg to 85 kg. On this occasion, Amritpal Jalandhar in 38 kg, Yashan in 41 kg, Jagdish Jalandhar in 44 kg, Ansh Amritsar in 48 kg, Ramandeep Sangrur in 52 kg, Jailpreet Singh Jalandhar in 57 kg and Prabhjot Singh Jalandhar in 62 kg won the first place.
In the 68 kg category, Parnam Faridkot secured first place, Jasjit Ludhiana secured second place and Roshan Hoshiarpur secured third place. In the 75 kg category, Dhanveer Jalandhar secured first place, Shoaib Patiala secured second place and Zorawar Mansa secured third place. Similarly, in the 82 kg category, Arman Singh Patiala secured first place, Sameer Ludhiana secured second place and Ranveer Mansa secured third place.
On this occasion, Vicky Chadha Sarpanch Bassi Kalan, Sunita Devi Sarpanch Bathula, Charanjit Singh Sarpanch Chabbewal, Bhupinder Singh Sarpanch Saidopatti, Numberdar Karnail Singh Bhuno, Daljit Singh Sarpanch Bhuno, Panch Ravinder Singh Nona, Satwinder Singh Jandoli, Naresh Kumar Jandoli, Karamjit Singh Bitta, Krishna Gopal, Jagveer Singh, Barmadatt Ratti, Hardeep Singh Patiala, Vijay Kumar, Tinku Sachdeva, Blue Pahelwan, Raja Dosanjh, Jasveer Singh Sheera etc were present.
