Rotary Club Nawanshahr honours eleven teachers with "Nation Builder Award 2025".

Nawanshahr:- Like every year, a simple and formal function was organized at the Rotary Bhawan located on Slough Road on the occasion of Teachers' Day under the leadership of President Riya Arora. In which 11 teachers from different schools of the district who have earned fame in the society by serving in various fields other than education were honoured with "Nation Builder Award 2025". The function began with the lighting of the lamp by the Rotary Association and singing the national anthem.

The entire management board of the Rotary Club welcomed the teachers and expressed their views in their honour. On this occasion, President Rotarian Riya Arora informed the audience about the services being rendered by the Rotary Club and its achievements. In today's simple but impressive event, 11 teachers were felicitated with certificates and medals, who contributed to the society by performing various activities and services in addition to their profession.
Among them, Harinder Singh Sass Langroa, Meena Chopra, Lalit Kumar, Sukhwinder Kaur, Balvir Sandhi, Neeraj Prabhakar, Neetu Bhandari, Rajni Kumari, Renu Bala, Shelly Jayarath, Bakshish Singh Sembhi, etc. were honored. The entire Rotary Association congratulated the honored teachers and bid farewell to everyone with a cup of tea at the end.
On this occasion, Rotary Club Secretary Gurinder Singh Toor said in his speech that along with education, it is the need of the hour to make children aware of road safety rules. He said that the Road Safety Awareness Society will form Rotary Road Safety Clubs in schools in collaboration with the Rotary Club. The Rotary Club members appreciated his message and assured their cooperation.
On this occasion, Rotary Club Association President Riya Arora, Sylvia Sandhu Secretary, Gurinder Singh Toor Executive Secretary, Rajan Arora District Coordinator, Rohit Jain IPP, Professor, GS Sandhu Project Chairman, Aruna Prabhakar Project Director, Rote Surinder Toor, Rekha Jain, Ninu Chopra, Jyoti Arora, Janvi Nanda, Poonam Manak, Saruchi Vij, Dr. Deepinder Singh Sandhu, Advocate Dheeraj Sehjpal, Sapna Bahri, Dr. Usha etc. participated in the program and congratulated everyone and finally thanked them.
