Hoshiarpur- The University School of Fashion Design of Rayat Bahra Professional University (RBPU) signed its first Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IBM (CSRBox). The objective of this agreement is to provide bright and better career opportunities to the students.
Giving information, the Chancellor of the university, Gurvinder Singh Bahra, said that through this collaboration, the students will get world-class courses, industry-relevant skills and good employment opportunities through the IBM Skills Build platform. The resources available on the platform will prepare the students for the challenges of the future workplace.
The Vice Chancellor of the university, Dr. Chandra Mohan said, “This agreement with IBM (CSRBox) will provide our students with industry-standard skills and world-class opportunities. This collaboration will further prepare them for the challenges of the 21st century workplace.”
Ritu Thakur (IBM CSRBox), Jasdeep Kaur Dhami (Registrar, RBPU), Charanpreet Singh (HOD, Fashion Design), members of the Placement Department and the Director-Principals of all the schools of the university were present at the agreement signing ceremony.
