Khalsa College organizes 'Street Play' to prevent AIDS

Garhshankar - At Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar, the NSS unit of the college in collaboration with the Punjab State AIDS Control Society organized a street play to prevent AIDS in the college campus.

Garhshankar - At Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar, the NSS unit of the college in collaboration with the Punjab State AIDS Control Society organized a street play to prevent AIDS in the college campus. 
On this occasion, various artists under the leadership of Project Manager Amit Kumar, through street play, made the students aware of the causes, symptoms and prevention methods of the spread of a terrible disease like AIDS and made them aware of this disease. 
On this occasion, the college principal Dr. Amandeep Hira welcomed the team from the Punjab State AIDS Control Society and assured them of providing necessary support for organizing such awareness programs in the institution. He motivated the students to contribute to the creation of a healthy society and guided them to live a happy life. 
Prof. Lakhwinderjit Kaur, Prof. Kanwar Kulwant Singh, NSS Program Officer Dr. Naresh Kumari and staff were present on this occasion.
