Nawanshahr- Dedicated to World Environment Day, the 'Every person should plant a tree' campaign has been started in the district as per the orders of the Honorable District and Sessions Judge-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority Mrs. Priya Sood ji and the directions of the Honorable Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority Dr. Amandeep ji.
On the first day of this campaign, 11 saplings of different types were planted by the Authority's PL V Vasdev Pardesi, Des Raj Bali and Kashmir Singh in collaboration with JSFH Khalsa School Chandigarh Road Nawanshahr. Speaking on the occasion, PL V Des Raj Bali said that the main need of the hour is that we plant maximum saplings and nurture them.
The District Legal Services Authority has made efforts to plant saplings in every village through paralegal volunteers. On this occasion, sportsmen and students were also present along with the school staff.
