Retired Training Supervisor of Red Cross Society and boon of Civil Defence, Mr. Kaka Ram Verma appealed that in the coming time, every person should take training in civil defence, first aid, CPR, fire safety, use of cylinder, rescue of victims and transportation to save themselves, their home, family, locality, colony, office, institution and victims.
According to Operation Shield, every student and civil employee should be prepared from now on to immediately save precious lives and property in case of air strikes, bomb, missile explosion or earthquake, fire, gas leak, electric shock.
They were made aware about danger sirens, blackouts, lying on the ground or in bunkers in trenches, putting fingers in ears, keeping wet handkerchiefs on mouth and nose, keeping handkerchiefs in teeth, avoiding gases, avoiding smoke, first aid to save lives of victims, CPR, recovery position, ventilator artificial respiration, rescue transport of victims, use of cylinders etc.
He told the ways to save victims in case of heart attack, cardiac arrest, unconsciousness, respiratory arrest etc. He gave information about helpline numbers, cyber security, avoiding addiction and crimes. School in-charge Inspector Jaspal Singh expressed gratitude and said that Kaka Ram Verma gives training in a very good and excellent way to reduce accidents and save precious lives.
The staff expressed gratitude and said that efforts should be made to spread the information of these extremely important activities to every home, family, community, institution, village, town because only trained people can help the victims with courage, determination and experience.
