Patiala- By bursting chemical, chemical, nuclear crackers, eating sweets to enjoy a few minutes during festivals, there will be more disasters in the future. By using drugs, fast food, junk food, cold drinks, we can destroy our health, fitness, health, wealth and community, but if we adopt the habits of ethics, manners, duties, responsibilities, tolerance, humility and discipline, then apart from families, our beloved country and society will also be prosperous, advanced, safe and powerful.

These ideas were expressed by the students of Green Land Public Senior Secondary School, Patiala, during the speech competitions organized by Gyan Jyoti Education Society, First Aid Safety Health Awareness Mission and Punjab Police Traffic Education Cell.
They vowed that they would not waste the earnings of parents and the prosperity of the environment during festivals. Upkar Singh praised and said that Green Land School Principal Mrs. Manju Garg and Kaka Ram Verma Ji are making efforts at a militant level to make the students aware for a bright, safe, happy, healthy future. Mr. Kaka Ram Verma said that today children should not be educated by mobile phones or television but by good schools, parents and social reformers together.
By making parents aware about the physical, mental, social, economic, problems, troubles and domestic incidents faced by children, such programs are proving to be very useful in restoring family relationships, love, compassion, respect and safety. ASI Ram Saran of Punjab Police Education Cell made them aware about the mistakes, negligence, mischief, drugs, use of mobile phones and vehicles, and problems arising due to cyber crime.
Principal Mrs. Manju Garg said that along with education, we should make joint efforts to increase the respect and happiness of parents and elders along with children by imparting great qualities like ethics, manners, duties, responsibilities, tolerance, knowledge, thoughts, feelings and habits. She said that last year her students got honours by appearing in the merit list in the board classes and this time also efforts are being made for more achievements.
