SAS Nagar, September 23 - On Monday, a vehicle loaded with goods got stuck in a pothole in the middle of the road on the road leading from Jahi Majra Road to Airport Road in Mohali's industrial area Phase 8 and Phase 5. On this occasion, the driver of the vehicle, Rohit, says that he was going to Chandigarh from the industrial area late in the evening after filling the vehicle, that during this time around 9 pm, his vehicle got stuck in a pothole in the road near PTL Chowk.
He said that first he tried hard to get the vehicle out, but when the vehicle did not come out, he informed the police control room, after which the PCR party reached the spot, but instead of helping anyone, they left saying that when the vehicle comes out, let me know. The driver kept pleading with people for help till 11 pm, but due to the time being too much, no one with a big vehicle reached for help. The driver said that during this time some youths were going on a motorcycle, who asked for help and after some time they brought a JCB and pulled his vehicle out of the pit.
The driver appealed to the administration to improve the poor condition of the city's roads so that the big vehicle drivers coming from outside the industrial area do not have to face any kind of difficulty and can deliver the goods loaded in their vehicles on time.
