Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini said this while addressing policy makers, statisticians and representatives from different states during the 29th Central and State Statistical Organization Conference organized on the theme of Empowerment of Local Level Governance here today. Union Minister of State for Statistics and Programme Implementation Rao Inderjit Singh was also present on the occasion.

Education, health, employment, social security, this data is bringing a revolutionary change in every sector.

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has set a goal of making India developed by the year 2047. Local governance and accurate data will play the most important role in fulfilling this. He said that in the coming time, every Panchayat should have a data dashboard, every district should have a data innovation lab and every state should compete with each other in accurate data collection and usage.

Haryana AI Investment of Rs 474 crores to be made under the development project
Shri Naib Singh Saini said that Haryana AI. is going to invest Rs 474 crores under the development project for the year 2025-26. Under this, a World Artificial Intelligence Centre will be established in Gurugram and an Advanced Computing Facility will be established in Panchkula.
He said that the Ministry of Statistics has signed an AOU of Rs 5 crores to make the statistics system of Haryana more robust and technologically advanced. This event will prove to be an effective platform for discussing common issues and capacity development between the Central and State Statistics Organizations.
On this occasion, the conference was attended by Secretary, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation D Saurabh Garg, Chief Secretary, Haryana Mr. Anurag Rastogi, Chief Secretary, Punjab Mr. K A P Sinha and Vice Chairman, Planning Board, Himachal Pradesh Mr. Bhawani Singh Pathania along with officials from various states.
