
Lado Laxmi Yojana: 'Money' enters women's lives!
Gharaunda/Karnal, September 25: Mayor Renu Bala Gupta stated that the Deendayal Lado Laxmi Yojana will empower women and make them self-reliant. This scheme will strengthen them economically and socially. Launched on the occasion of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay's birthday, this scheme will provide eligible women with financial assistance of ?2,100 per month.

This scheme will strengthen them economically and socially. Launched on the occasion of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay's birthday, this scheme will provide eligible women with financial assistance of ?2,100 per month.
Mayor Renu Bala Gupta was speaking as the chief guest at the registration and app launch event for the Deendayal Lado Laxmi Yojana held in the auditorium of Gharaunda on Thursday. She said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the Haryana government is implementing numerous schemes for the upliftment of the poor and vulnerable, so that even the last person in the queue can benefit from the government's public welfare schemes. She said that the government has made special efforts for the upliftment of daughters and women.
The Mayor said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay had awakened the spirit of Antyodaya, and the Haryana government is following his path. Women will be able to fulfill their needs with the ?2,100, which will give new direction and energy to the women power. Respecting women power is real progress. He said that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini had promised to provide ?2,100 to women under the Lado Laxmi Yojana in his manifesto before the 2024 elections, and this has now been fulfilled.
The Mayor said that the Lado Laxmi Yojana has been launched. Registration has begun, and the ?2,100 will be deposited into women's accounts from November 1st. An app has also been launched for registration under the scheme, which can be downloaded onto mobile phones and women can register from the comfort of their homes. There will be no need to visit any office.
Women from the villages of Garhi Khajur, Chaura, and Araipura in the Gharaunda block participated in the program. Upon arriving at the venue, BDPO Somveer Khatkar and Gharaunda Municipal Council Secretary Ravi Prakash welcomed the Mayor with a bouquet of flowers. On this occasion, the launch of the Lado Laxmi App and the scheme was broadcast live from Panchkula by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
Help desks were set up at the venue, where free registration of eligible women was done on the spot. Apart from this, a health check-up camp was also organized, in which the health of women was checked free of cost. Neelam, PGT English teacher of PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School, Kohand, efficiently conducted the stage.
On this occasion, Chairman of Nagar Palika Gharaunda Happy Luck Gupta, Block Committee Chairman Mahendra, Block Education Officer Ravindra Kumar, Municipal Councilor and other BJP officials and workers were present.
