Chandigarh - A delegation of shopkeepers and traders from Manimajra, led by nominated councilor Satinder Pal Singh Sidhu and social workers Rameshwar Giri, Mohanlal, Naveen Bedi, Sachin Verma, and Mehndi Hasan Gudd, met with Commissioner Amit Kumar regarding the construction of roads in the Pipli Wala Vyapar Mandal. The commissioner assured them that the roads would be completed within a month.
For the past several years, all the roads in Manimajra have been in poor condition. Now, potholes and road blocks are more visible on all sides. Regarding this issue, a delegation of shopkeepers from Manimajra Pipli Wala Town, led by nominated councilor Satinder Pal Singh Sidhu and social worker and Mahant Rameshwar Giri of the Mata Mansa Devi Temple, met with Municipal Corporation Commissioner Amit Kumar today. And discussed about the roads of Manimajra. The Municipal Corporation Commissioner took this seriously and listened to it.
On this, Commissioner Amit Kumar assured the delegation that tenders for construction of roads in Manimajra as well as the entire Chandigarh have been passed and within a month all the roads of your Manimajra and Chandigarh will be repaired. The Commissioner welcomed and honoured the delegation.
Apart from Satinder Pal Singh Sidhu and Rameshwar Giri, Mohanlal, Naveen Bedi, Sachin Verma, Mehndi Hasan Guddu, who were part of the delegation, also thanked Commissioner Amit Kumar and expressed their gratitude to Commissioner Amit for resolving the road problem as soon as possible.
