Jasmine of Kanya School Rahon won third place in state level competition

Nawanshahr- Under the orders of Child Welfare Council Punjab, state level competitions were organized at School of Eminence, Mall Road Amritsar under the leadership of District Education Officer (DEO) Amritsar. Principal Baljinder Singh said that Jasmine, a student of the school, participated in these state level competitions under the guidance of Madam Sangeeta Rani and Rakesh Rani.

Principal Baljinder Singh said that Jasmine, a student of the school, participated in these state level competitions under the guidance of Madam Sangeeta Rani and Rakesh Rani.
He said that Jasmine, a student of class XI, brought laurels to the prestigious institution of the region, Government Girls Senior Secondary School Rahon, by securing third place in the paper reading competition. Student Jasmine and guide teachers were felicitated in the morning assembly.
On this occasion, Principal Baljinder Singh said that the girls of the school also participated enthusiastically in various sports competitions organized by Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sports Club Rahon at Dussehra Ground Rahon. He said that Kabaddi A team secured first place, which was led by Swati, a student of class 10 and was given a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.
Similarly, Kabaddi B team, which was led by Shivani, a student of class 12, secured second position and was given a cash prize of Rs. 7,000. Both the teams were also awarded with 50 New Zealand Dollars per team. In the under-17 race competition, Raj Kumari secured first position, Rajjo secured second position and Nagma secured third position and received cash prize.
Similarly, in the under-14 race competition, Rajjo secured first position, Nagma secured second position and Reena secured third position and received cash prize. Apart from this, in shot put competitions, Swati secured first position and Nagma secured second position and received cash prize.
On this occasion, Satnam Singh, Gursharandeep, Ajit Singh, Charanjit Singh, Harjinder Lal, Rajan Rana, Sukhminder Kaur, Satinder Kaur, Gagandeep, Harjeet Kaur, Baldev Krishna, Sona Sharma, Ravdeep Kaur, Satinderpal Kaur, Sandeep Kaur, Jaswinder Kaur, Sangeeta, Neelam Rani, Kamaldeep, Raghwinder Kaur, Karamjit Kaur, Balwinder Kaur, Preeti Liyal, Jasvir Raj, Renu, Ranjit Kaur, Rajwinder Sandhu, Nidhi Ummat, Rakesh Rani, Nirmaljit Kaur, Mandeep Kaur, Sangeeta Rani, Ramandeep Singh, Campus Manager Rajinder Nath etc were present.
