Una, April 11:- Model code of conduct is in force in the district in view of the Lok Sabha elections and two assembly elections. Action is being taken as per rules against those who violate the rules.
In view of this, on Wednesday, a person complained about the distribution of material under sub-division Gagret. Taking immediate action on this, Gagret police raided a house in Abhaypur village on the basis of the complaint. During the raid, police recovered 52 solar panels, 52 solar lights and 81 GI poles from the house. The police took action and took the recovered material into their possession and action is underway against the accused as per rules. This information was given by ASP Una Sanjeev Bhatia. He said that in the complaint received there was a possibility of influencing the elections.
