According to MNREGA workers, due to non-payment of wages, they have become a victim of financial hardship, but they are not being heard. Most of these MNREGA workers include women from needy families.
  In this regard, a gathering of MNREGA workers from four villages of the area was held today at village Rampur On this occasion, the workers said that they have been engaged in clearing the forest, planting new plants, cleaning the roads and other related works in the semi-mountainous and forested areas of the area under the Forest Department for a long time. But for the last four months, their remuneration is not being released by the Block Development and Panchayat Officer's office Due to which many MNREGA workers are forced to leave this work. He said that for a daily wage of 300 rupees, he has to go to the forest by taking a rented vehicle from village Rampur, Bildo Satnaur, Pakhowal and other villages. And they are also paying the rent of these vehicles from their side But because they are not getting remuneration, it has become difficult to earn a living for their families. In this regard, Darshan Singh Mattu, office bearer of Kandhi Sangharsh Committee, said that cleaning, planting trees and many other risky tasks are being done by MNREGA workers in the forest. In this regard, their life insurance and health protection kit should also be available But these facilities on the one hand, the workers are having to struggle hard to get their remuneration. He warned that the remuneration should be released to the MNREGA workers at the right time And they should be given other facilities and allowances related to this work. In this regard, Block Development and Panchayat Officer Neeru Bala said that sometimes the remuneration is not released due to the stoppage of funds and action should be taken soon.
