Nawanshahr - As per the decision of the Central Committee of CPI (M), the party is celebrating the first death anniversary of its beloved leader, late Comrade Sita Ram Yechury, former General Secretary, all over the country. As part of this, the CPI (M) Tehsil Committee Balachaur has decided to celebrate the death anniversary on September 07 at village Rakkad Dhaha.
A decision in this regard was taken in a meeting held here at Baba Watan Singh Tapparian Bhawan under the chairmanship of fellow Hussan Chand Majhot farmer leader. This information was given by Tehsil Committee Secretary of CPI (M).
Comrade Rakkar informed that the speakers will explain the ideological fight waged by Comrade Sitaram Yechury against the threats to secularism, democracy, federalism and the Constitution in the country.
The speakers will also present their views on the ideological fight waged by Comrade Sitaram Yechury against neo-fascism and communalism in the country. The main speaker of this event will be Dr. Balwinder Singh Tiwana, former head of the Department of Economics, Punjabi University, Patiala.
Today's meeting was addressed by Comrade Mahan Singh Raudi, Ranjit Singh Rana, Bhupinder Singh Kaulgarh, Chaudhary Somnath, Comrade Gurmail Ram Mangupur.
