SAS Nagar, March 15 - The sanitation system in Phase 4 is bad and piles of garbage are seen on the roadsides everywhere. In these piles of garbage, where there are dry leaves and other garbage, people also throw household garbage on them, which is not removed for many days and this garbage keeps rotting here.
Local resident and social worker leader Mr. Karan Johar said that there are three councillors in Phase 4 and all of them are related to the occupying party of the Municipal Corporation, but despite this, the sanitation system in Phase 4 is in a bad condition and garbage is not removed here for many days. He said that garbage is lying on the side of the main road near Gurudwara Sahib and the market, which has not been removed for many days. Similarly, garbage has not been collected in other places for several days, which makes it seem that there is no successor to Phase 4.
They demanded that the piles of garbage in Phase 4 be collected immediately and action be taken against the sanitation workers who are not performing their duties properly.
