On this occasion, District President of the Union Gurbakhsh Kor Chak Guru, CITU District General Secretary Mahinder Kumar Badoan, Block President Palo Sunni, Jagdish Kor Meet President Garhshankar, Sukhwinder Kor Mukandpur said that there is nothing for Anganwadi workers, assistants, laborers, farmers in the budget presented by the Modi government.
This budget is anti-people, so it was strongly opposed by burning copies of the budget. On this occasion, the leaders demanded that the ICDS scheme be made permanent. Children between 3 to 6 years should be given back to Anganwadi. Contract system should be abolished. Minimum salary of Rs 26000 per month should be given. Gratuity pension should be given to everyone. Money should be given for the Poshan Tracker scheme.
If the government does not pay attention to our demand, the struggle will be intensified. On this occasion, State Vice President of Kisan Sabha Gurnek Singh Bajjal supported this struggle and said that both the governments are anti-labourer, anti-employee and anti-farmer.
Their rights can be achieved only by fighting against them. Apart from the above leaders, Harbans Moila, Paramjit, Jagmohan, Ramesh, Asha, Kulwinder Kaur, Satwinder Kaur, Sarabjit, Manjit Kaur, Harbakhsho also addressed the gathering.
