There should be a judicial inquiry into the allegations of putting up photos of Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann on Jhakian: Justice Nirmal Singh

Chandigarh, December 29 - Senior Vice President of Shiromani Akali Dal (United) Justice Nirmal Singh on behalf of Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for not including Punjab tableaus on Republic Day. It has demanded a fair judicial investigation of the charges being brought So that the people of Punjab can know the truth.

Chandigarh, December 29 - Senior Vice President of Shiromani Akali Dal (United) Justice Nirmal Singh on behalf of Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for not including Punjab tableaus on Republic Day. It has demanded a fair judicial investigation of the charges being brought So that the people of Punjab can know the truth. He said that the central government should make public the tables sent by the Bhagwant Maan government. With which the complete reality can come before the people of Punjab.

In the statement issued here, he said that Sunil Jakhar had told a press meet that the reason behind not including the posters was that the posters sent from Punjab had pictures of Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann on them. Due to which these tableaus were not included in the Republic Day parade.

He said that the charges leveled by Sunil Jakhar are extremely serious, due to which it has become imperative to conduct a judicial investigation. He further said that every party has political differences, but any party should refrain from using such tactics for political gain.

Justice Nirmal Singh said that parties have political differences but the history of Punjab, the sacrifices of Punjab and the contribution of Punjab during independence cannot be forgotten. He said that every state has the right to display its culture, history and sacrifices made for the country on Republic Day. Last time also, the tableaux of Punjab were not included in the central exhibition and this time also it is very unfortunate not to be included.
