
Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Jyoti Jot Purab was celebrated with devotion
SAS Nagar, November 18 - The Jyoti Jot Purab of Dasham Pita Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji was celebrated with great devotion at the historic Gurudwara Singh Shaheedan of nearby village Sohana. In connection with Jyoti Jot Purab, a religious function was organized throughout the day after the Bhog of Sri Sahaj Path Sahib Ji in the morning.

In connection with Jyoti Jot Purab, a religious function was organized throughout the day after the Bhog of Sri Sahaj Path Sahib Ji in the morning.
In this religious event, Bhai Gurnam's Panthak Dhadi Jatha made the Sangats talk in detail about the life of Sarbansdani Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the burning of Jyoti Jot in 1708 AD. Bibi Jasleen Kaur Ragi group of Ludhiana people made an effort to unite the devotees with the Guru by mesmerizing them with divine chants through their rasa bhachne kirtan.
Shiromani Pracharak Bhai Sandeep Singh of Sri Anandpur Sahib informed the congregation through his sermons about creating the Khalsa Panth by Sarbansdani Sri Guru Gobind Ji, sacrificing Sarbans for the sake of country, nation and religion. He told the greatness of the nectar of Khande Bate and encouraged the devotees to drink the nectar and become gurus.
Besides Shiromani Pracharak Bhai Harjinder Singh Javadi Taksal Wale, Bhai Amanpreet Singh, Bhai Kuldeep Singh, Mata Sunder Kaur Sarb Seva Society, Bhai Gursevak Singh, Kavishri Jatha of Bhagrane Waals, Bibi of Sukhmani Seva Society, Bhai Gurvinder Singh in addition to the Jathas. Bhai Gurmeet Singh, Bhai Inderjit Singh, Bhai Jaswant Singh and Bhai Sukhwinder Singh, the present group of Gurdwara Singh Shaheeds entertained the Sangats through Katha, Kirtan, Kavishari and Gurmat thoughts throughout the day. Guru's langar was served in abundance.
