SAS Nagar, October 13 - In Mohali Phase 7, unidentified thieves attempted to steal AC compressors installed on the roof of 6 shops at night. Giving information in this regard, shopkeepers Manmukh Singh and Sahib Singh said that during the night, thieves took out compressors from 5 to 6 ACs outside the door. Meanwhile, the watchman saw the thieves and raised a noise, on which the thieves ran away from the spot.
He said that in the meantime the watchman informed him and he reached the spot. Meanwhile, the PCR team of the police also reached the spot but no action was taken by the PCR.
They said that after this they filed a complaint in Mataur police station, after which the head officer of the Mataur police station arrived with his team and saw the opportunity. The police examined the footage of the CCTV cameras in which the thieves are seen. He said that the two thieves who carried out the incident had come on a motorcycle and when the noise was heard, they left their toolkit and ran away.
In this regard, Gabbar Singh, chief officer of Mataur police station, said that he has come to inspect the scene and the thieves will be caught soon. The police is investigating the matter.
