Garhshankar (Balveer Choupra) Kandhi Sangharsh Committee delegation led by provincial convener Darshan Singh Mattu to Deputy Speaker Mr. Jai Kishan Singh Rowdy MLA on Garhshankar Nangal road, Bahram to Jejon Doaba and Garhshankar Chandigarh, Nawan Shahr and Anandpur road. A demand was made to cut the standing dry trees and trees that had completed their life and a demand letter was given to plant new fruitful, shady and flowering plants. Deputy Speaker Shri Jai Kishan Singh Rowdy assured that dry trees will be cut on priority. I will also recommend planting fruitful, flowering, shady trees on the Garhshankar to Nangal road, expressing agreement with the demands and giving full assurances. On this occasion, Balraj Kumar, Major Singh, Captain Karnail Singh, Prem Singh Rana, Mahinder Singh Mattu, Dilbagh Singh Mattu , Balwinder Singh, Pargan Singh, Harnek Singh Banga, Daulat Ram, Jagwinder Singh and others were present. The leader of the Kandhi Sangharsh Committee said that if the trees are not cut for a month, then a struggle will be launched.
