Chandigarh:- Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has given a sharp reaction to the central government's reduction of GST. He said that the central government itself had brought GST and called it a master stroke, but now it is misleading the people by reducing it itself.
The Chief Minister said that the BJP had also brought GST and it was they who made the reduction. If they had not brought this tax in the first place, inflation would not have touched the sky. They themselves increase it, they themselves reduce it and say that it has been amazing.
Attacking the center, Mann said that instead of showing off to the people, the state's share of GST should be released first. He said that many states, including Punjab, are waiting for the pending money, due to which many development works are being affected.
