Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society will continue to provide relief services to flood victims despite Gurmat celebrations.

Nawanshahr- Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society Nawanshahr is continuing its service of sending relief materials to flood-affected families in the areas affected by the floods in Punjab. According to the information given by the society's chief servant Surjit Singh and other members, although the society members have become very busy due to the annual Gurmat celebrations. However, despite that, the relief and service works being run by the society in Dera Baba Nanak and Ajnala constituencies will not continue unabated but will be accelerated.

In contact with the social service organizations that are overseeing the relief works in those areas with the support of Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society, now it is extremely necessary to provide ration materials, drinking water, fodder for animals, as well as beds, clothes and repair of collapsed houses for rehabilitation.
Keeping in mind the demand, the society has sent the fifth consignment of relief materials including more than 250 beds, 80 blankets, one vehicle of drinking water bottles, clothes for children, elderly and women, etc., under the leadership of S. Gurmukh Singh Langroa, from the society office to the village Shikar Mashian Camp (Dera Baba Nanak) this morning.
Where this material will be delivered to the needy families through tractor trolleys with the help of the famous organization of the area, Ladi Group of Societies. This time, a team of seven members of Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society has left with this relief material, where this team will take stock of the houses affected by the floods, the repair and reconstruction work of which will be started soon. The society has decided to continue these services until the situation normalizes.
He asked the people of the area to come forward for these services so that the needy families can be helped till their rehabilitation. On this occasion, he specially thanked the donors and especially the NRI brothers who are giving great support to the society to continue these services.
