Hoshiarpur - Goswami Ganesh by Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary Raj Pal Rawal under the direction of Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar and under the guidance of District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Hoshiarpur Dilbagh Singh Johal. 'Vidhan Se Samadhan' program was organized at Dutt Sanatan Dharma College, Haryana, Block-Bhunga.
The objective of this program was to educate women about legal aid and rights.
A large number of women participated in this legal awareness program. The program was addressed by State Women Commission Member Kiranpreet Kaur Dhami and Advocate Miss Renu. Who made the women and students of the women's cell of the college aware about the legal rights of women.
Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary, Raj Pal Rawal shared special information about Victim Compensation Schemes. Stickers of toll free number 15100 of National Legal Services Authority were distributed to staff and students for availing free legal services. And it was also told that anyone can get free legal help by contacting this number.
Women participating in the program were also given certificates of appreciation by the Legal Services Authority. Staff members of the District Legal Services Authority were also present on this occasion, who assisted in the successful organization of the programme.
