He directed that all the works approved from the MP fund should be completed by December 2025 at all costs. He told the officials that wherever necessary, complete the pending works in a timely manner by doing convergence under MNREGA, so that both the speed and quality of the schemes can be ensured.
The MP told the officials that they should not be limited to achieving only the targets, but make the schemes more effective by improving the working system. Contribute to improving the system by doing deep and comprehensive analysis so that the public can get the real benefit of the schemes.
Complete the work of PGI Satellite Center by December 2025-
Expressing deep displeasure over the delay in the work of PGI Satellite Center being built in Malahat, he directed the implementing agency to complete the construction work including all facilities by December 2025. He said that all modern services including OPD and IPD should be available in the stipulated time. He also asked to solve the problems related to providing path to the local residents on priority by completing the marking of the land.
Una Railway Station should be beautified in accordance with Himachali art culture and aesthetics-
The MP directed to develop Una Railway Station in accordance with Himachali art culture and aesthetics. Along with improving the condition of the entry and exit points of the station, public facilities, canteen, toilets etc., he asked to prepare a detailed proposal based on the traffic possibilities of the next 30 years for the parking arrangement. He said that all new coaches should be added to the Himachal Express train before March 2026 and toilet facilities should be ensured in all the trains operating from here.
Four lane DPR should be made on practical basis-
Anurag Thakur directed to study the proposed four lane projects in Una district with full practicality before making DPR. The MP said that while making DPR, it should be decided that the main market should not be choked, where the bypass should be connected and the grade of the roads should be such that accidents are reduced.
Emphasis on skill development-
The MP asked the lead bank manager to present the data that in which areas of the district there is no bank branch within a radius of 5 km. He emphasized on increasing public awareness in other schemes including Mudra Yojana. He emphasized on starting courses in accordance with the market demand regarding skill development. He instructed the district administration to hold a meeting with all the stakeholders and have a comprehensive discussion in this regard and make a plan. He asked RSETI to focus on giving training as per the market demand.
Tracking system and referral data necessary in health service-
Anurag Thakur asked to solve the construction problems of Mother-Child Bhawan in Regional Hospital Una soon. Also, instructions were given to develop a system for tracking referral patients, so that it can be known which patient was referred where, and whether treatment was done there or not.
Instructions for strict action on illegal mining-
Expressing concern over illegal and unscientific mining in Una, the MP said that this is causing damage to both the property and revenue of the state. He instructed to take strict action against tippers carrying debris beyond the prescribed limit and impose three to four times the fine on the illegal goods caught.
Make better arrangements for disposal of plastic waste-
The MP stressed the need for effective disposal of plastic waste at industrial and tourist places in the district. He instructed to conduct a garbage survey and establish a collection center, and submit an action plan within three months.
He was asked to ensure early construction of a building for the Kendriya Vidyalaya opened in Amb subdivision and focus on running classes smoothly. He instructed to find a permanent solution for the railway underpasses that get waterlogged during the rainy season and to carry out construction work with a future-oriented approach.
Review of the progress of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana-
The MP informed that under PMGSY Phase 1 and 2, Rs 311.28 crore has been spent on 190 works and Rs 23.26 crore on bridges in the district. 30 new road and bridge projects are proposed in the third phase of the scheme.

In the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal assured to ensure full compliance of the MP's instructions and said that all development works will be completed within the stipulated time. At the same time, Superintendent of Police Amit Yadav gave information about the steps being taken to curb mining.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar along with senior officers of various departments and non-government and government members of the committee were present.
