
Punjab government will bring a policy for mining sand in the fields due to floods: Sisodia.
Chandigarh- Aam Aadmi Party Punjab in-charge and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia said that the Punjab government will bring a special policy for mining in the fields of the flood-affected areas of the state so that farmers can be given relief from silt (sand) in the fields due to floods. Manish Sisodia revealed this while talking to reporters in Chandigarh.

Manish Sisodia revealed this while talking to reporters in Chandigarh.
He said that the farmers of the flood-affected areas are most worried that due to the floods, silt has come up to two feet in their fields, due to which they will have to face difficulties in farming in the coming period. In view of this, the state government will soon bring a mining policy to remove the silt in the fields of the flood-affected areas.
Manish Sisodia said that the central government is doing politics over the floods. While he should stop politics and immediately release a special relief package for Punjab and also release the outstanding amount of Rs 60 thousand crore of Punjab. He appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to release this outstanding amount of Punjab on priority before his visit to Punjab.
