Hushiarpur, 1 July – Shri Sandeep Malik IPS/SSP Police achieved major success in the campaign being run against drug smugglers in Hushiarpur. Two drug smugglers have been arrested along with 80 grams of heroin.

Under the leadership of, as per the instructions of Deputy Captain Police Sub-Division Garhshankar Shri Jaspreet Singh, the police station It was run under the supervision of Inspector Jaipal, Chief Officer, Garhshankar. ASI Rachpal Singh was going from Garhshankar towards Dugri with the police party, when he saw a vehicle coming from the front. Stopped scooter number PB-24-D-8418, on which two persons were riding.
Due to his barking, he was stopped and interrogated. The scooter driver gave his name as Madan Lal alias Madi alias Tiru, son of Dev Raj, resident of Dugri, while the other person gave his name as He declared his name as Rakesh Kumar alias Keshi, son of Late Harish Chand, resident of Dugri. Both were arrested on the spot.
During the search, 40 grams of heroin was recovered from Madan Lal and 40 grams of heroin was also recovered from Rakesh Kumar. Case number 110 dated 01.07.2025 was registered against both of them under sections 21, 61, 85 of the NDPS Act at Garhshankar police station. yes. The accused have been produced in the court and taken to police remand, where they can be interrogated more deeply. Rakesh is gone. The total recovery includes 80 grams of heroin (40 grams each from the accused) and scooter number PB-24-D-8418.
