S.A.S. Nagar, June 13 - Officers and employees of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare set up a Chhabil of cold sweet water and a langar of black gram and Karah Prasad dedicated to the martyrdom of the leader of martyrs, Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji.
During this, the Chhabil was started after performing Ardaas. On this occasion, the Director of the Department, Shri Jaswant Singh, Shri Narinder Singh, Shri Benipal, Shri Dilbag Singh, Shri Jagdish Singh, Shri Sandeep Bahl, Shri Jaideep Singh, Shri Vivek Kumar, Shri Ketan Chawla along with other officers and employees inaugurated the Chhabil by distributing Prasad.
On this occasion other officers including department leaders Mr. Inderjit Singh, Deepak Vashisht, Kartar Singh Pal, Bhupinder Singh Adhrera, Mr. Gurpreet Singh, Mr. Gurdeep Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Mr. Jagtar Singh (Driver), Mrs. Parvesh Kumari, Mrs. Jasveer Kaur, Mrs. Manmohan Kaur, Mrs. Mandeep Kaur, Miss Simran Sidhu, Mr. Jagdeep Singh, Amandeep Singh, Avtar Singh, Sarabjit Singh and Prem Chand Sharma were also present.
