SAS Nagar, June 11- Birthday of great revolutionary, Brahmveta, and Shiromani Bhagat Kabir Ji was celebrated with deep reverence at the historic Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan in nearby village Sohana. On this joyous occasion, a special Gurmat Samagam was organized after the morning bhog of Sri Sahaj Path Sahib Ji.
A spokesperson of Gurdwara Sahib said that in this Gurmat Samagam, Bhai Gurdev Singh's international Panthak Dhaadi Jatha narrated in detail to the Sangat about the life story of Shiromani Bhagat Kabir Ji and his Bani recorded in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Bhai Gurvinder Singh's Ragi Jatha connected the Sangat with Ilahi Bani and tried to connect them with the Guru through their soulful Kirtan.
Shiromani Preacher Bhai Mandeep Singh Damdami Wale told through his discourses that out of the 15 devotees' banis recorded in Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib, Aap Ji's banis are the most beautiful in 541 words in 18 ragas.
Apart from this, Bhai Jagmeet Singh, Sher-e-Punjab Kavishri Jatha, Mata Sundar Kaur Sabar Seva Society, Akal Kavishri Jatha, Bhai Sukhwinder Singh, the wives of Sukhmani Seva Society, Bhai Ravinder Singh's Jathas, along with Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan's Huzuri Jatha Bhai Gurmeet Singh, Bhai Jaswant Singh, Bhai Harpreet Singh, and Bhai Inderjit Singh, delighted the Sangat by reciting Hari Jas throughout the day through Katha, Kirtan, Kavishri and Gurmat thoughts. On this occasion, Chhabeel of cold sweet water and Guru's Langar were distributed to the Sangat throughout the day.
