Hoshiarpur- Local Bodies Minister Dr Ravjot Singh made an important announcement today and said that tender has been issued for the reconstruction of the long-dilapidated Hoshiarpur-Bullowal-Tanda road. This road will be 28 km long and its construction will cost around Rs 21 crore.
Dr Ravjot Singh said that this project is the result of the visionary thinking of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann ji and his deep commitment towards development. He said that I am very happy to tell you that this work has been successful due to the joint efforts of me and my elder brother MLA Urmur Jasvir Singh Raja Gill.
He specially thanked the Chief Minister and said that under his leadership the incomplete development works in Punjab are getting momentum. Dr Ravjot Singh said that the construction of this road will greatly facilitate the movement of the people of the area, reduce travel time and also reduce road accidents.
This road will not only connect rural and urban areas in a better way, but will also strengthen business activities and local economy. He said that this project has brought great relief to the area. For many years the public was demanding the repair and reconstruction of this road.
Now the tenders have been issued and construction work will also start soon. The Local Bodies Minister said that the priority of the Punjab Government is to strengthen the infrastructure and solve the problems of the common people as soon as possible. This road project will prove to be a milestone in this direction.
