Una, May 26- Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Verma has issued advisory regarding Corona virus in Una district. He informed that at present no case of corona virus has been reported in the district, yet it is very important to take precautions.
He informed that cases related to cough, cold, influenza and acute respiratory infection are also common in OPD and IPD. He appealed to all the district residents that there is no need to panic and do not pay attention to rumors.
Dr. Sanjeev Verma informed that all necessary arrangements have been made by the Health Department to deal with Corona. Adequate number of beds, oxygen supply, oxygen concentrators, PSA plants, antibiotics and essential medicines are available in the hospitals.

Necessary precautions to prevent corona-
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjeev Verma informed that all the district residents have been appealed to regularly clean their hands with soap and water or sanitizer to prevent corona virus. Cover your nose and mouth with a handkerchief or tissue paper while coughing or sneezing. Avoid going to crowded places if you have symptoms like cold, cough or flu. Children, elderly, pregnant women and people suffering from serious diseases should be especially cautious. If any person shows symptoms like corona, then immediately go to the nearest health institution and get tested and treated. He said that the health department is fully prepared to deal with this situation.
