Nawanshahr- The meeting of the local Pensioners Association Punjab State Power Corporation Limited Circle Nawanshahr was held under the leadership of Circle President Kulwinder Singh Atwal in which the office bearers of the Working Committee of Goraya, Banga, Nawanshahr and Garhshankar divisions under Circle Nawanshahr participated.
The members present in the meeting demanded from the Powercom Management that the Punjab Government has issued orders to release the first installment of arrears from April 2025. And the Punjab Government has also started giving the first installment to its pensioners from April 2025. But the Powercom Management has not released the first installment to the rest of the pensioners except one.
Due to which there is a lot of anger among the pensioners of Powercom. If the Powercom Management does not release the first installment, then what will happen to the installments of the remaining three and a half years. If the arrears and leave cash payment of the pensioners are not released soon, then the pensioners will be forced to wage a fierce struggle against the government and the Powercom Management.
On this occasion, Circle Working Committee officials Balveer Singh Dosanjh, Narinder Mehta Nawanshahr, Kulwinder Atwal Nawanshahr, Balwinder Gurayan, Naseeb Chand Banga, Ashwani Kumar Gadhshanker, Niranjan Singh Kangan, Vijay Kumar Nawanshahr, Jagdish Balachaur, Kulwinder Gurayan, Malkit Madhali, Madan Ramraipur, Ramlubhaya Ladhana, Kamaldev Gadhshanker, American Jhungian, Surinder Lakha were present.
