On this occasion, he appealed to the residents to maintain patience, as the local administration is fully prepared to face every situation.

Visiting the flood gates of Banur Weir near Chhat village along with officials, Randhawa ordered that as little water as possible be released to save the villages.
Reviewing the Tiwana dam of Ghaggar river for the second consecutive day, Randhawa assured the people that the administration is working with full vigilance and is fully prepared for any emergency. He also appealed to the people to stay away from the river banks and cooperate with the administration to ensure safety.
After this, MLA S. Randhawa reached villages Khajur Mandi and Sadhapur and met the farmers. He assured that the government will get the Girdawari done and will provide full financial help for the loss. He appealed to the farmer brothers and villagers to cooperate with the administration.
The MLA of the constituency Kuljit Singh Randhawa reached Mubarikpur Causeway along with the Municipal Council President and took stock of the current situation and provided relief material to the residents of the nearby slums.
